Two members of Al Sawari Theatre—playwright Isa Al Derazi and director Noor Humaid—are participating in the Ithra Short Play Competition, organized as part of the Ithra Theatre Festival, with their theatrical production Vicious Circle.

The play explores the human condition under the weight of fear and inner conflict, examining how pressure and routine can gradually reshape a person's beliefs and behavior until restrictions become an accepted reality that is difficult to challenge. Through a visually rich and emotionally engaging journey, the production raises questions about freedom, choice, and the limits of resistance, inviting audiences to reflect on the vicious circles in which people may find themselves trapped without even realizing it.

The creative team includes Isa Al Derazi as playwright and Noor Humaid as director. Yousif Radwan and Mohammed Al Hajri serve as assistant directors, while Mohammed Al Hajri also works as stage manager. The production's scenographic team features Ali Mohsen as lighting designer, Hassan Shams as composer, and Sumaya Nasser as makeup designer, with Noor Humaid also designing the costumes.

The cast includes Moataz Al Abdullah, Yousif Radwan, Mohammed Wazzan, Amna Al Othman, Mimi Abdulaziz, and Hassan Shams. This participation continues the strong presence of Al Sawari Theatre members in regional theatre festivals and competitions, reflecting their ongoing commitment to creating contemporary theatrical works that engage with human and social issues through innovative artistic expression.
